What is the Chip-N-Dough Affiliate Program?

The Chip-N-Dough Affiliate Program will pay you every time you refer a sale to Chip-N-Dough from your site. Joining the Chip-N-Dough Affiliate Program is not only a way to make money, but it can also add value to your site. The program provides a high level of support, tutorials, and affiliate contests.

How do I get started with the affiliate program?

It's a simple three-step process: read the Operating Agreement, fill out the Affiliate Application, and when Chip-N-Dough accepts your application, you will be notified via email about how to link to us and start earning money.

Can I participate if I live outside the U.S.?

Sites in English and based in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada or Australia are eligible to participate in the Chip-N-Dough Affiliate Program. Also, commission payments for affiliates will be made in U.S. dollars only.

Why do I have to provide my social security number?

We need this information for tax filing purposes. If you are an individual (as opposed to a business/corporation), we need your Social Security number, because if your calendar-year commissions exceed $600, Chip-N-Dough must issue you a Form 1099MISC at the end of the calendar year that must be filed with Form 1040.

Does my Web site qualify for the Chip-N-Dough Affiliate Program?

Anyone can apply for the program. However, Chip-N-Dough reserves the right to refuse any site, especially if it contains unsuitable material. Web sites that would violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right; encourage illegal activity or racism; or feature hard liquor, tobacco products, gambling, or materials, products, or services related to pornography will be deemed unacceptable for the Chip-N-Dough Affiliate Program.

I don't have a Web site yet. Can I still apply to be an affiliate with Chip-N-Dough?

No, you must have an existing Web site in order to become a Chip-N-Dough affiliate.

Commission Fees and Payment

How does Chip-N-Dough track members coming from my Web site? Chip-N-Dough uses MyAffiliateProgram software from KowaBunga! Technologies to track the transactions you refer to Chip-N-Dough.

How can I keep track of how many people visit and make purchases with Chip-N-Dough?

Simply log in to your Chip-N-Dough account at www.chipndough.com/affiliate to access a variety of online reports, where you can track not only your click-throughs and commissions, but also other activity to help increase sales.

How much will I earn for each transaction I refer to Chip-N-Dough?

You will receive 7% per sale referred to Chip-N-Dough from your site. In addition, you will receive 3% per sale referred to Chip-N-Sale by any of your sub-afiliates.

When and how do I get paid?

You will be paid monthly by check when your Chip-N-Dough account reaches a minimum of $15. If your earnings are less than $15, the amount will be carried over to the next month. Commission checks are issued within 35 days of the end of each month.

How long does the Chip-N-Dough cookie last?

The Chip-N-Dough cookie, a small file stored on the computer of somebody that clicks your affiliate link, last for 365 days. That means that if somebody clicks on your link and doesn't purchase right away, the will have a cookie with your referral ID on their computer, so if they purchase within the next year, you will get credit.

Setting Up My Affiliate Links

Where will I find Chip-N-Dough banners, buttons, and text links?

Simply log in to your Chip-N-Dough account at www.chipndough.com/affiliate to access the variety of linking options.

How can I download graphics and logos from Chip-N-Dough to my Web site?

All the graphics and logos are hosted on the Chip-N-Dough server, and the linking codes at www.chipndough.com/affiliate include the code for the graphics. You may not host any Chip-N-Dough graphics on your site.

May I link to Chip-N-Dough from more than one Web site?

Yes. You are welcome to link to Chip-N-Dough from multiple Web sites, as long as none of the sites violates any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right; encourages illegal activity or racism; or features hard liquor, tobacco products, gambling, or materials, products, or services related to pornography. Submit the URLs for all sites, which you plan to use to promote Chip-N-Dough, via email to .

In order to break out the tracking for multiple Web sites, you can append your affiliate URL with any word, number or combination of up to 10 characters.

Maintaining My Chip-N-Dough Affiliate Account

How can I promote Chip-N-Dough?

Chip-N-Dough will provide banners, buttons, and text links that you can use on your site. We have found that the text links are the most effective marketing tool for generating Chip-N-Dough sales. In addition to your Web site, you may promote Chip-N-Dough through an opt-in mailing list.

How will my visitors register for the Chip-N-Dough membership?

Your graphic and text links will take your visitors right to Chip-N-Dough, so that sales conversions are quick and easy.

How can I change my affiliate account information?

Simply log in to www.chipndough.com/affiliate, and scroll to the bottom of the page to update your account information.

Promoting My Web Site

Can I change or personalize the images provided by Chip-N-Dough?

No. It is not permissible to change or personalize any Chip-N-Dough images.

Can I use Chip-N-Dough in my URL or in the name of my site?

No. The use of Chip-N-Dough or any variation thereof in your URL or in the name of your site will be cause for your immediate dismissal from the affiliate program.

In such a case when you breach the affiliate agreement, you thereby forfeit any earned commissions.

What kind of advertising can I do?

Be creative-write a newsletter for visitors to your site, write a testimonial about Chip-N-Dough cookies, write an article. Note that you may use any copy on www.chipndough.com/affiliate, but if you wish to write your own copy, you must send it to Chip-N-Dough at for review.

What kind of advertising is prohibited?

You cannot send unsolicited email (aka spam) in any way. There will be no leniency in cases of unsolicited email, and affiliates in violation of this policy will forfeit their commissions and be removed from the program.

Can I issue a press release or other kind of announcement regarding my affiliation with Chip-N-Dough?
