- Official Rules

GENERAL: No purchase necessary to enter. Promotion begins at
12:01 a.m. (PST) on the first of every month and ends at 11:59 p.m.
(PST) on the last day of every month. Contest is open to all legal
residents of the United States; contestants must be over the age of
18. Odds of winning are dependent upon the number of entries received.
Participants must provide valid e-mail address.

TO ENTER: There are two ways to enter this sweepstakes, an online
method and a write-in method. Online Method: To enter online, complete
and submit electronically the online entry form at http://www.chipndough.com
You will be asked to provide your first and last name, daytime and
evening phone numbers, E-mail address, and birthdate. Online entrants
must complete entire entry form to be eligible. Entries received after
the last day of the month will be entered into the next month's drawing.
Limit one entry per person per month. Additional contest entries submitted
automatically with each order. Multiple entries submitted by a single
person, whether via mail-in or online, are void. Submissions from
online automated sweepstakes entry systems are not permitted and will
be void. Sponsor assumes no responsibility for lost, late, misdirected,
postage due entries or mail, or for any computer, online, telephone,
or human error or technical malfunctions that may occur. All entries
become the property of the Sponsor and will not be returned.

PRIZES: Prizes cannot be transferred or substituted (1) Grand
Prize: 5 pound cookie gift basket shipped to you or a loved one ($64.95
value). (3) First Prizes: 1 ½ pound cookie gift tin ($24.95 value).

WINNER SELECTION: A random drawing will be conducted on or about
the first of every month. Odds of winning depend on the number of
eligible entries received. Drawings will be held on a monthly basis
on the first of every month following the initial drawing on 6/1/01.
Each drawing will start with a whole new set of entries

ELIGIBILITY: This sweepstakes is open only to legal residents
of the United States, 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.
Void in Puerto Rico and where prohibited by law. Employees of Chip-N-Dough
Cookie Company and their respective affiliates, parent companies,
subsidiaries, promotion, advertising and promotional agencies and
the immediate family members of each are not eligible to enter.

GENERAL CONDITIONS: Sweepstakes entrants agree to be bound
by the terms of these official rules. The laws of the United States
govern this Sweepstakes. All federal, state and local laws and regulations
apply. By entering, participants release and hold harmless sponsor
and their respective subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers,
prize suppliers, employees and/or agents from any and all liability
or any injuries, loss or damage of any kind arising from or in connection
with this Sweepstakes or acceptance or use of any prize won.

INTERNET: Sponsor is not responsible for any problems or technical
malfunction of any telephone network or telephone lines, computer
on-line systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software,
failure of any e-mail or entry to be received by sponsors on account
of technical problems, human error or traffic congestion on the Internet
or at any Web site, or any combination thereof, including any injury
or damage to participant's or any other person's computer relating
to or resulting from participation in this Sweepstakes. In the event
of a dispute regarding entries received from multiple users having
the same email account, the authorized subscriber of the email account
used to enter will be deemed to be the entrant and must comply with
these rules. Authorized account subscriber is the natural person who
is assigned the e-mail address by the Internet Service Provider (ISP),
on-line service provider, or other organization responsible for assigning
e-mail addresses
